The Story
Michael began competing in APTA tournaments in 2024 and quickly established himself on the New Jersey platform tennis scene, carrying a 7 PTI rating into tournament play.
Playing for Canoe Brook Country Club under the leadership of Director of Racquets Drew Broderick, Michael competed in several APTA paddle tournaments throughout the season, translating two decades of high-level racquet-sport experience onto the platform court.
The tournament season complements his day-to-day work at the club, where he helps deliver platform tennis programming, clinics, and leagues for members throughout the paddle season.
